Zi Hui's reader's response draft 1

In the article “10 Reasons Why The Hyundai Kona Electric Is Better Than The Tesla Model 3” (Moore, 2023), the KONA Electric Vehicle(EV) offers a range of four distinct regenerative braking settings, spanning from level zero to three. The intelligent regenerative braking system employs the onboard radar sensor to automatically adjust the amount of regenerative braking according to different road conditions such as the change in steepness or the traffic in front. This allows the vehicle's state of charge to be maintained at a healthy level. Secondly, the KONA also has a “one-paddle mode” where users can stop the vehicle without using conventional brakes. The Smart Recuperative system enhances the KONA electric vehicle in terms of energy conservation and efficiency, additionally contributing to greener transport emissions, which is one step in curbing global warming. The KONA has regenerative braking from level zero to three, with level zero having no regenerative braking and level

Zi Hui's and Bryan's research pathways ( updated)

Research pathway (ZiHui and Bryan) Thinking of Singapore going towards greener transport We thought of conventional vehicles using combustion engines changing to electric vehicles and hence; We used the Hyundai Kona Electric as our starting topic We researched the various types of systems within the Kona electric vehicle and found out about the intelligent regenerative braking system We researched more in-depth on functions and features of regenerative braking and various smart technologies. Lastly, we compile all the relevant sources and embark on the summary paragraph

Zi Hui's introductory letter (Updated as of 23/11/2023)

Subject: Zi Hui’s self introductory letter   Dear Prof Blackstone,   Good day to you Professor. I am Wong Zi Hui, a mechanical engineering undergraduate student from class S21. Prior to admitting into Singapore Institute of Technology, I graduated with a diploma in aerospace electronics in Temasek Polytechnic. My interest in engineering started when I was learning Design and Technology (D&T) as one of the school subjects back in secondary school. The hands-on activities where I get to create and craft movable mechanisms using simple rotary methods sparked my interest in engineering. Wanting to learn more about engineering, I chose to study engineering at a diploma level and subsequently, at an undergraduate level. I enjoy rollerblading since I was 8, turning this hobby into a side hustle, I am working part time as a rollerblading instructor. And the biggest challenge I face as an instructor is explaining to younger students how to execute specific move in rollerblading
